Egencia expands five times faster than competitors

London – February 25, 2015 – Egencia®, the business travel company of the Expedia group (NASDAQ: EXPE) today shared impressive growth figures for its United Kingdom business.
Satisfying business travellers demands for an improved experience boosted Egencia UK’s travel bookings by 21 percent in 2014. Online booking that mimics the experience of leisure travel sites contributes to this success by helping Egencia clients achieve rapid online adoption of the booking tool. Leading digital marketing organisation, Yell, achieved up to 90 percent online adoption within six months of initiating Egencia services in June 2014.
In addition to continued innovations including expanded Egencia® TripNavigator mobile offerings, as well as exclusive mobile-only deals with 9,000 properties, Egencia kept investing in its personal and responsive service. Egencia increased customer service staff in the UK by 30 percent in 2014, helping the company achieve customer satisfaction of almost 90 percent across its UK clients.
